Government To Convert All Toll Booths Into Public Urinal (+Video)

Government to convert all toll booths on their respective points into public urinary after it has abolished payment for tolls.

Since the 2022 budget was read to Parliament in 2021, government through the Roads and Highways Minister, Mr. Kwasi Amoako-Atta scrapped road tolls, as contained in the budget.

Due to the abolishment of road tolls, the National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) has admonished government to demolish the toll structures on the roads to pave way for safety on the roads.

According to the NRSA, since the structures are no more in use, they have to be pulled down to prevent unsafe happenings on the roads.

Government through the roads minister revealed that it has different plan for the toll booths.

As confirmed by TV3, the Minister has revealed that the toll booths will be used for public urinary instead of demolishing them.
