JUST IN: Chief Of Staff’s Office Withdraws 4 Military Men From The Office Of The Speaker

The Office of the Chief of Staff issues a withdrawal of some 4 military men from the office of the Rt. Hon. Speaker of Parliament.

A letter sent to the office of the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin by the chief of staff, seeks to withdraw some military personnel from the speaker’s office.

This action according to the letter, is as a result of improper procedures employed in attaching the four (4) military personnel to the Speaker’s office.

According to the Chief of Staff’s Office, “the under-named military personnel were attached to the Office of the Right Honourable Speaker of Parliament without the proper procedure”:

  1. 190195 WOI Jafaru Bunwura.
  2. 193211 WOII Apugiba Awine David.
  3. 198083 S/Sgt Agbley Prosper.
  4. 201021 Sgt Bonney Prince.

The office of the Chief of Staff asks that, “it is humbly requested that the personnel are withdrawn with effect from 14 January 2022 whiles efforts are made to regularize their attachment”.
